A Very Brief Introduction

Welcome. If you have made it this far, you are either a beloved family member or a valued friend. I suppose there's an outside chance that you could be a stalker, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.

I've always had a lot to say (those of you who know me very well are, at this moment, gagging on my sense of understatement), but in the last three or four years I've really had a lot on my mind. I thought it was about time to put it all somewhere, preferably in one place, where I could find it again if needed, and with a catchy title. And so I have finally joined every other person on the planet in creating a blog - a place where I can reflect, ramble, vent, persuade, inform, crack wise, and invite you, dear reader, to do the same.

That's all for the mo'. (That is an Irish colloquialism meaning, "for the moment." I shall almost certainly use it again, so try to go with it.) Time and threat-level permitting, I will endeavor to post on a weekly basis, sometimes with pictures, sometimes with lots of words that you may agree or disagree with, and feel free to say so.
